I’ve been privileged to have lived and worked in different places.

To meet people whose values, lifestyles, and worldviews challenged my own.

It made me think. And to be honest, I still haven’t fully reconciled everything I’ve seen, heard, absorbed.

This article was liberating to write in a way – because I got to talk about places and sites and people that are locally significant and not really tourist attractions. Or if they are, it’s done by people who want to boast about the experience.

Please don’t do that if you can help it. Just enjoy the moment.
